In 1910, the wealthy British newspaper magnate Lord Rawnsley organizes a flying race between London and Paris. The participants in the race come from all over the world. Of course everyone tries to win in their own way, fair or not. Meanwhile, English contestant Richard Mays and American Orvil Newton also fight for the affections of Patricia, Lord Rawnsley's beautiful daughter.
