Lilo & Stitch plot
"Hold on to your coconuts."
Six-year-old Lilo Pelekai is a Hawaiian girl who lives with her older sister Nani after the death of their parents. Intelligent and athletic, Nani constantly feels the pressure of having to care for Lilo, who in turn often gets into trouble for her imaginative and rebellious behavior. One day, Lilo meets an alien creature whom she adopts and names Stitch. The furry creature is designed to cause chaos and destruction, but the close bond he develops with Lilo causes him to rethink his life as an intergalactic federation searches for him.

Definitely one of Disney's better live action remakes.
I don't really know much about Stitch myself, I've only seen the animated version.
Was a fun movie to watch. The kids had a great time, which is also the goal of this movie.
For adults, well, just a simple but still fun movie to watch.
That this will be a great success, for sure. Because this will be a huge hit as a family film.
After Snow White it's nice to see that Disney can act normal again

Lilo [Maia Kealoha] is a six-year-old troublemaker who is far too wise for her age and has been raised by her sister Nani [Sydney Agudong] since the death of her parents. Lilo dreams of a true friend and finds one in an animal shelter. It is an alien [Chris Sanders] who is the result of a failed experiment on his home planet and is on the run. The power broker [Hannah Waddingham] sends Lilo's creator Jumba [Zach Galifianakis] and the enthusiastic scientist Pleakley [Billy Magnusssen] to Earth to track down and return the creature, who is a potential threat to humanity. A CIA agent [Courtney B. Vance] discovers the appearance of alien life and also begins a search. This redundant remake confirms Disney's creative bankruptcy once again. It lacks the charm of the 2002 animated film of the same name (also starring Chris Sanders as Stitch) and occasionally lapses into formulaic slapstick, but the enthusiastic cast (Magnussen is a standout) makes up for a lot and towards the last act it does contain a few touching moments. Tia Carrere provided the voice of Nana in the original, here she plays the social worker who worries about Lilo's (flawed) upbringing.

Nothing but praise for this, a really nice film and many comic moments with some emotional moments, the actors did well, although I have some doubts about the right choice for Nana and Jumba, only in relation to looks.
The only thing I missed and would have liked to see in the cartoon is how Stitch interrupted the fairy tale cartoons and certain moments when he met the Disney princess.
