Katie Gibbs lives with her foster mother and her foster sister and brother. Not wanting to go back to foster care, Katie does everything her foster family asks her to do without complaining. One day, the boss of the record company Massive Records visits Katie and her sister at school looking for singing talent. Katie has a beautiful singing voice, but is forced to sing for her untalented sister Bev so she can get the record deal.
