Zwischen Welten plot
For German soldier Jesper it is his second mission in Afghanistan. During his first mission, he lost his brother there. Now he returns to the war zone and, along with his troops, is tasked with protecting a small village from the threats of the Taliban. They are supported by the Afghan interpreter Tarik. This is a great help to Jesper and a special friendship develops between the two men.
