Nice action movie. Of course, don't think about it too much. The story is very far-fetched and contains the necessary plot holes. The film contains a few nice exciting and well-filmed action scenes. The locations are also well chosen and provide a nice decor. The actors act average. Nice to see Berenger again.

Great snack. 2.5/3.0

Of course, you can't expect much from such a film, which was shot in Bulgaria, entirely in the tradition of B films of recent years. Yet the film doesn't look depressing, which is usually the case with films shot there. The setting is very nice and also beautifully shot. On the other hand, there is a mediocre cast, bad dialogues and mediocre action (many shots, one kill). Suddenly Berenger appears around the corner. It adds little (you could also say it is completely unbelievable) but charismatically he always knows how to bring something, certainly with an otherwise worthless cast.

Sniper Brandon Beckett [Chad Michael Collins] is ordered by his colonel [Dennis Haysbert] to eliminate an enemy sniper who is targeting dignitaries. Brandon also learns that his father [Tom Berenger] is still alive and that he may be able to track him down during the mission. Of course, there are a few snags in this solidly made, but otherwise completely generic, addition to the long-running B-franchise. It's nice to see Berenger (who started the series) back, and you'll just have to accept that.
