Zao Chun Er Yue plot
Xiao takes refuge in a small village in the countryside. He soon becomes a popular teacher, loved by the school children. He meets Mrs. Wen, the widow of his comrade who was killed in the liberation army. She lives in appalling conditions with her son. Xiao helps Mrs. Wen, leading to gossip in the village.
