Apprentice plot
Aiman is a 28-year-old man who has just started working as a guard in a prison. His parents have been dead for years, he only has his older sister. At work, Aiman befriends an older colleague of Chinese descent named Koon. After a while it turns out that Koon has been the executioner of the prison for many years and carries out death sentences. After one of his executions fails, Koon's assistant quits his job. The important and influential Koon wants Aiman to be his successor. But with Aiman his conscience gnaws and traumas from his past also surface.
