Yûkoku plot
During the so-called Ni Ni Roku coup of 1936 and on the eve of the planned execution of his friends, a lieutenant commits seppuku. He is torn by the conflict between friendship on the one hand and loyalty to the emperor on the other. His wife is prepared to follow him everywhere, including this decision.
