Wiñaypacha plot
The Aymara couple Phaxi and Willka live together in a stone house at 5000 meters altitude in the clouds of the Peruvian Andes. They resemble the color combinations of the ponchos and blankets that Phaxi weaves: they must remain in harmony in order to live side by side. They spend their days together; tending animals, collecting firewood, spinning wool, collecting potatoes, tasting sauce and grinding quinoa in the snowy landscape of the Andes. Despite their devotion to each other, the couple feels alone.
