Vlakári plot
Thirteen-year-old Vojta falls in love with the equally old Kajka, a girl who is already a lot more mature than himself. Despite all kinds of handicaps, he manages to approach her and establish a kind of friendship. He is shocked when she tells him after a while that she has a steady friendship with a boy who is in the service.
