Utomlennye Solntsem 2 plot
In this sequel to Burnt by the Sun, Colonel Sergei Petrovich Kotov is betrayed by Stalin and sent to prison for a life sentence. However, Kotov escapes from the Gulag when it is bombed at the beginning of WWII. He then joins the front as a simple soldier.
