Twelve jurors from all walks of life and from all walks of life must decide the fate of a Chechen teenager who murdered his stepfather, a former Russian officer who served in Chechnya. The judges are soon ready with their verdict, but one of them thinks they should talk about it a little more deeply. After all, crimes like this don't just happen and it turns out to be difficult in Russia to pass judgment in a case like this without the emotional context.
