Une Femme à Sa Fenêtre is set on the eve of the Second World War, in 1936. The French wife of the Italian ambassador to Greece falls in love with a communist resistance fighter. She gives up her lavish, luxurious life and joins his side. Full of romance dominates her ideals. She has a child from him and soon after he is murdered. Years later, when the daughter is an adult, she returns to Greece to learn more about her parents.
