Tsunagu plot
Student Ayumi is trained by his grandmother to become a medium (tsunagu), with the aim of succeeding her in this profession one day. He can bring people into contact with the dead. Hatada, a middle-aged man, is eager to get in touch with his mother, who died of cancer. School girl Arashi wants to make amends with her friend with whom she had an argument just before she died in a bicycle accident. Businessman Tsuchiya keeps waiting for the woman who disappeared right after he proposed to her. Ayumi wonders if the people who come to him have the right to disturb the dead and if he can really help them.
