"...It takes a traitor and a hero"
Set against the backdrop of the British Civil War in the 17th century, the relationship between General Fairfax, who fought with the forces of Parliament against King Charles I, and Oliver Cromwell, the leader of Parliament and 'Lord Protector of England'. They are friends during the war, but after the war their political ideological differences endanger their friendship.
