The Savage Eye plot

The film is told using documentary material as an intrinsic part of the story. On the dark side of 1950s Los Angeles city life, we follow Judith, a divorcee looking for a fresh start in life. She meets the strange inhabitants of the city ranging from trendsetters to religious fanatics. All the tawdry and desperate faces of this world mirror Judith's personal failures and setbacks.
