Four sparkling adventures of a city girl (Mirabelle) and a village girl (Reinette). They meet in the countryside when Reinette helps to fix Mirabelle's broken bicycle tire and then shows her the beautiful nature. They like each other and decide to study together in Paris and take an apartment there. But it is not easy to live together. Reinette is active and enthusiastic, Mirabelle, on the other hand, is lazy and resigned.
