"They've got a long way to go."

Karlton's (Justin Timberlake) mother (Mary Steenburgen) is due for heart surgery, so she asks her son to track down his father and take him to the hospital. Together with his girlfriend Lucy (Kate Mara), he goes in search of his father, who is a baseball legend.
