Nat (Christopher Walken) is a riotous con man who claims to get everything for free. However, the relationship with his son Flynn has been broken for years. One day, when everything seemed to be going wrong, Flynn receives a message from his girlfriend Maggie (Amanda Peet) that his father is dying and wants to see him. Flynn agrees to this request in a last-ditch effort to mend his relationship with his father.
