Zigzag plot
Fletcher (Wesley Snipes), who fears for his life because he is in debt to the mafia, abuses Zig Zag and makes him pay the rent on his house or else he will be evicted. Fearing what might happen, Zig Zag steals from his boss's coffers. When he is suspected of the theft, he enlists the help of his only friend Dean Singer (John Leguizamo). However, Dean can't help him either. To clear the suspicion, Zig Zag must somehow clear his own name before losing what little he already has.
