The town of Fatima in Portugal in 1917. While three children are tending the sheep, they have a vision of the Virgin Mary. The local adults recommend that the incident be kept quiet because of the anti-Catholic Portuguese government. But soon the news leaks out and the town is visited by thousands of pilgrims. On October 13, seen by 70,000 pilgrims, the sun suddenly sank in the sky and many were cured of their illnesses.
