Burma VJ is constructed almost entirely from footage secretly filmed by a group of reporters during the uprising against the military dictatorship in September 2007. With small, portable cameras tucked into bags, or clamped under the armpits, the reporters risk their lives and put the viewer in the middle of the fray.
