Based on the different phases in Nic's life, as a child, adolescent, young man and finally as an adult, The Loss of Sexual Innocence outlines the path of a man who looks back on his life during a continuous journey between past and present. On this journey, he realizes that nothing has changed since the dawn of humanity. From the moment Adam set out in Paradise in search of Eve, mankind had lost its innocence. However, he never recovered from that loss.
