The Informer plot
The story is set between a group of revolutionaries in the newly independent Ireland of 1922. When one of them, Francis, kills the police commissioner, he runs away. But when he returns to say goodbye to his mother and former lover, he is cruelly betrayed by his friend Gypo, who believes he is having an affair with his mistress.
