Film about the life of Corrie ten Boom during the Second World War. The Germans have entered Haarlem. Father Ten Boom, a watchmaker, lives there with his two unmarried daughters Betsie and Corrie. Despite his advanced age, he refuses to passively watch as the Jews are persecuted by the Germans. The house on Barteljorisstraat becomes a hiding place for Jewish people in hiding.
