The Hi-Line plot

The beautiful but naive Vera Johnson (Rachael Leigh Cook) is convinced by Sam (Ryan Alosio) that she will get a job in Chicago. Her parents aren't too happy about that and try to get Sam out of town. However, when Vera learns from Sam that her parents are not her real parents, she begins a search for herself and her past. During that search, Sam and Vera grow closer and closer to each other.
