The Devil Is a Woman plot
"Kiss me .. and I'll break your heart!"
At the beginning of the twentieth century, the blood of enemies and the passion of couples in love flow freely during Carnival week in the port city of Seville. Emotions are especially strong between Antonio (Cesar Romero), a young supporter of the revolution, his old friend Don Pascual (Lionel Atwill) and the irresistible Concha Perez (Marlene Dietrich) who comes between them. In a conversation between Antonio and Don Pascual, the latter recounts his memories of a disastrous love affair with Concha and warns Antonio not to come near her. If Antonio does, however, a duel is inevitable. But the choice between the two is always up to Concha.
