"Life as a teenager isn't always easy."
Mark's father has killed his mother and disappears into prison. Mark moves in with his friend Byron and his mother. Byron is like a big brother to Mark. As the boys grow up, Byron gets a lot more serious. He begins to think about his future and begins a relationship with the adult Cathy. This means he has very little time left for Mark. Mark finds it hard to bear and becomes jealous of Cathy.
