Tähtitaiva​s Talon Yllä plot

The film follows the story of three women from the same family, over a period of several decades. Saima, Tuulikki and Salla, all live in the same mansion. Saima's story is set in the war year 1942, when Finland fought against the Soviet Union. Tuulikki's story takes place in 1978 and Salla's story in the present day. Every woman is between 30 and 40 years old. How much does the time in which we live affect us and what are the changes we pass on from one generation to the next?
