Tie Pohjoiseen plot
Timo Porola is a successful but joyless workaholic concert pianist in his forties. He lives a lost life in an almost empty apartment. His wife left him and took their child with them. Until Leo, his long-lost father, suddenly reappears. He returns unannounced from the Far East to meet his son again. He is a petty criminal, barely able to commit to anything for more than a few months. Even to his identity; he has several fake IDs. Leo begs Timo to take him to northern Finland for reasons he won't tell. Against his better judgment, and still furious about the way his father left Timo's mother, Timo relents and ends up with his father on a wild ride north.
