"When you know you're dying, you better get to living."
Billy is the self-appointed leader of a group of teenagers living in a shelter. Jacob and Rae, Billy's oldest childhood friends, also live there as "part of the family". Billy has an AIDS-like virus which he passed on to his brother Jacob. Billy and Rae are lovers, much to the dismay of Jakob who has always had a crush on Rae. Billy's philosophy of life, and how it interfaces with having a deadly virus, comes to a head during a game of "Tag" on which the future of "the family" depends.
