Sugar plot

Sugar, a young girl with a dark past, struggles to survive on the streets of Venice Beach. She suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder after losing her family in a horrific car accident. Together with some friends she tries to find a place in society. With the help of Bishop, her childcare counselor, she reconnects with her uncle who was looking for her. In her new living environment, however, she is again confronted with her past.
