Su Re plot

In the tomb where the body of Jesus lies, Mary weeps for the loss of her son. We then follow different episodes from the life and suffering of Jesus Christ, described by the way in which the four evangelists always give a different perspective on the story. The story is not set in Palestine, however, but in the dramatic landscape of the Sardinian filmmaker Giovanni Columbu's own native region, just as it was customary for painters to create Biblical scenes for a long time.
