Something to Live For: The Alison Gertz Story plot

This film is about Alison Gertz and her fight against the HIV virus. Gertz, in his early twenties, straight and of good descent, became infected with the HIV virus a few years earlier after spending a night with Cort Brown, a bartender at Studio 54. Gertz, as a champion of rights for people with the HIV virus, became warm welcomed by the media who craved a fresh face. As a result, she became the face for the fight to make people aware of the virus.
