Some Things That Stay plot
1954, 15-year-old Tamara has had enough of constantly moving house with her parents and siblings. They rent a farm and find out that the previous owners moved after their 17-year-old son died in this house. Tamara is shocked to learn that the boy has died in her room, but the family begins to settle in, get to know the neighbors and learn to milk the cows that belong to the farm. When her mother is diagnosed with tuberculosis and she is sent to a sanatorium to recover, the family falls apart.
