Frank Knöpfel not only has the initials in common with Felix Krull. When con man Frank wants to pay for a coat for a foreign customer in a boutique, he is sent to jail for credit card fraud. After his release, he goes to live with his brother Peter and his girlfriend Marie and takes an honest job. But Frank can't resist cheating, especially when he runs into Tanja, the woman from the boutique, again...
