Slnko v Sieti plot

Oldrich “Fajolo” Fártak, a student who always verbally abuses his girlfriend Bela Blažejová, offers himself “voluntarily” (actually at the behest of the authorities) for summer work on a farm. This prompts both Fajolo and Bela to start a relationship with someone else. A parallel story tells of Bela's blind mother, who behaves expressively helpless, her father's revealed infidelity and his breakup with her grandfather, who happens to live in the village where Fajolo does his volunteer work.
