Sie Ist Meine Mutter plot

Rena is a family therapist, married and mother of two adult sons. She travels with her old mother Edith to Norway, the country where she was born in 1943. Finally she wants to know the truth about her origin and the horrors her mother had to endure under the Nazi politics. Her search has caused a lot of irritation around her and there is always a constant pressure on the relationship with her husband Jan and their children.
