Shree 420 plot

Dressed in tattered Japanese shoes, English trousers and a red Russian cap, rural orphan Ranbir Raj comes to Bombay to make a fortune. He pawns his gold medal and gambles with the money received. Raj loses everything, in short, he is completely destitute. Raj ends up on the beach, where he meets Vidya Shastri. Shastri is a teacher who runs a private school. They are falling in love with each other.
