Shattered plot
Kate Stenson dreams of a life as the wife of a powerful man. She marries Mayor's son, Ken Burnett, and raises two children with him. However, Kate's seemingly perfect life begins to take hold when she learns that her adopted son, Logan, has serious mental problems. Her search for the history of Logan's background results in the discovery of a dark secret that could destroy the Burnett family.
