Shanghai Belleville plot

Mr. Zhou is on a sidewalk in Belleville. He has, as it were, 'fallen from heaven' to look for Gine, his missing wife. When he accepts poorly paid work, he meets Liwei, a young man who came illegally from Croatia a few months earlier with his younger brother. Together they go looking for Gine. They are helped by Anna, a prostitute.
