Shan plot

Vihang leads a very modest life in poverty. He is in love with the rich Nilambari, the only daughter of Madan Barve. He meets her parents, who first agree to marriage, but then change their minds when they find out he's quit his job and want to focus on singing. Nilambari is no longer allowed to meet him and her parents want Nilambari to marry someone else.
