Sein Letztes Rennen plot
Paul was once a great marathon runner, a legend, gold medal winner in Sydney 1958. But that was then. Now, in his late seventies, he decides, after repeated falls, to leave the familiar house where he was happy for many years with his wife Margot. Another reason is that their daughter can't take care of them because she travels around the world as a flight attendant and is rarely available. When in the nursing home Paul suddenly has to choose between singing in a circle or an hour of craftsmanship, he asks himself a crucial question: is this it now? In order not to end up in a deep depression, he puts on his old running shoes again and starts running in circles in the park of the home. Round after round. Day to day.
