Sasameyuki plot
The story takes place in the second half of the 1930s. A once very prominent family from Osaka - the Makioka family - has to make drastic changes in their lifestyle after the loss of the head of the family. The focus is on the 4 sisters of which the eldest two are already married. The youngest also wants to get married but is not allowed to because the 3rd is not yet married.
