Soldier Kelli can't wait to return to 'her' quiet little town in the Northeast of America, after a military deployment. She is most looking forward to the everyday things: feeling the carpet under her bare feet, hanging out in front of the TV with a cold beer and the smell of her baby's head. But slowly but surely she begins to feel the differences with her time in service. She struggles to find her place again, within her family and the town she no longer recognizes.
