Prendimi e Portami Via plot
The marriage between the painter Valeria and her husband, who lives on the outskirts of an anonymous Italian city, is coming to an end. It's not the only storyline in this movie. The teenage love between Valeria's son and a gypsy girl, but also the problematic relationship between the gypsy community and the local residents is discussed. The parents mainly focus on their own relationship, so that their son lives in his own world. He finds a soul mate and buddy in a gypsy girl who is in his class and lives in a caravan opposite their house. The two teenagers, both a bit lonely and otherworldly, support each other, meet often, dream together. The relationship between the 'gadjo' boy and the gypsy girl gives rise to hatred and ultimately a pogrom in the community, where the impact of two very different groups of people turns out to be bad. The gypsy girl wants to be 'taken away' by the boy when she learns that her father has given her hand away to her uncle after a lost card game. However, he does not understand what she means. Despite this, he decides to look for the girl after she is chased away.
