Poppy Shakespeare plot
Poppy Shakespeare is a new, and apparently mentally well, patient at a mental institution in North London. She insists that there is absolutely nothing wrong with her and arrives at the clinic meticulously groomed. We follow her arrival through the eyes of N, a veteran of the institution, who has lived there for 13 years and has cut all lines with the outside world. N is tasked with showing Poppy around and an unlikely friendship develops, in which N wants to help Poppy in her urge to leave the clinic.
