Poppy Field plot
Cristi, a young Romanian, is with the gendarme. He tries to balance his job in a macho and hierarchical environment and the fact that he is secretly gay. He keeps his personal existence to himself. He has a long-distance relationship with the French Hadi, who visits him every now and then. Cristi is summoned to a cinema, where an ultra-nationalist and also homophobic group tries to disrupt the shooting of a gay film.
