Piccadilly Incident plot
When World War II breaks out, the patriotic and young Diana Fraser enlists in the British Navy. Diana marries Captain Alan Pearson, the son of a nobleman. Diana is stationed in Singapore. It is then assumed that she was killed in action. Alan's grief is eased when he meets American Joan Draper, who works for the United States Navy. Alan remarries and the couple have a child. Diana, who turns out not to have died but was stranded on a desert island, returns to civilization and has to find out that her husband has a new family….
