Pendular plot
In an empty loft, a man and woman mark off the ground with orange tape in two equally sized areas: one space is for her dance studio and the other for his workshop of sculptures. An open kitchen and a mattress turn the place into a home. The couple melds into sexual passion, playing soccer with friends or partying, then always retreating behind their dividing lines as a means of boosting their creativity. It doesn't take long before he starts using her space for his large sculptures and she uses his for her choreography. This interplay between intimacy and rivalry means that the couple is constantly exploring each other on their own. The man eventually experiences a growing desire to have a child with her.
